چکیده
17-4 PH steel is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless with an excellent convenience of good corrosion resistance and high mechanical properties. At the same time, it has been determined from literature that very little research done on milling this steel, which one materials are difficult to process. Therefore, experimental was focused coated carbide inserts in dry cutting environment, eco-friendly regime. In experiments performed up technique, changes resultant force (Fr), surface roughness (Ra) total power or energy consumption (PcT) during machining were investigated. Experiments according L9 design by choosing three different speeds (V), feed rate (f) depth (ap). Fr values calculated help components measured Kistler brand dynamometer equipment. The magnitude mostly depends (64.92%) then (30.26%), forces relatively decreased increase speed. While Ra mainly affected (65.52%), observed speed had substantial positive effect (33.78%). According PcT results, although owing spindle increased at without changing chip cross-section, decrease material strength as result temperature led consumption. However, lowest value obtained smallest levels parameters. light all recommended use optimized parameters industrial applications terms contributing sustainability.
